What we collect and why
We collect your name, email, password, purchase history, course progress, messages you send us, and basic technical data (IP address, browser).
We use it to provide your courses and support (to fulfil our contract with you), to keep tax records (legal obligation), to keep the site secure (legitimate interest), and to send newsletters (only with your consent). We do not ask for health information. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see them.
Who we share it with
We never sell your data. We share it only with providers that help run our business: Thinkific (course platform), Stripe (payment processor), Google (Gmail, for email), and our accountant. Some may process data outside the UK, protected by approved safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard data transfer contracts.
How long we keep it
Account and course data: while your account is open, and for 5 years after it is closed. Payment and tax records: 6 years from the end of the financial year they relate to, as UK law requires. Marketing: until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or move your data, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent at any time. To do this, or to complain, email [email protected]. We acknowledge complaints within 30 days. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk) or, in the EU, to your local data protection authority.
Cookies
We only use essential cookies, which are needed to keep you signed in, remember your progress in lessons, and process payments securely. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
